The question is why Joy2Key is a necessity on most installs I read about? Is there a particular reason why native joystick control is not working in HS? If I program my Ultra-Stick into full analog mode would it work with the native joystick input properly? I did not require J2K with the Mala frontend.ī) If Joy2Key is an absolute necessity, how does one unload Joy2Key once a emulator is selected? Is Joy2Key supposed to remain loaded in memory once a emulator is selected and loaded? Wouldn't that interfere with me pushing custom maps to the Ultrastick? How does Joy2Key get reloaded once the emulator closes? If I must use J2K I would like to it use for controlling the frontend only. Ultimarc's website has no documentation for this.Ī) I know this first part is related to HS but the requirement of Joy2Key seems like a shared RL component and confuses me.

Unfortunately I cannot find documentation that demonstrates how to use it. I was excited to see native support for UltraMap programming. I paired the latest version of HSpin with the latest version of RocketLauncher.
I am migrating from a Mala cabinet paired with an Ultra-Stik 360. I was recently turned on to HS and RocketLauncher and decided to give it a try.
